Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe

A sumptuous, velvety ice cream infused with pineapples and enhanced with TFS Pineapple Flavour drops.

Ingredients: 

  • 475 ml double cream
  • 240 ml whole milk
  • 150 grams caster sugar
  • 5 ml vanilla extract
  • 5 ml TFS pineapple flavouring
  • 240 grams diced pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base:
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the double cream, whole milk, and caster sugar. Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add the vanilla extract and TFS pineapple flavouring to the mixture. Stir well to combine and ensure the flavouring is evenly distributed.
  1. Prepare the Pineapple:
  • If you’re using canned pineapple chunks, make sure to drain them well. If using fresh pineapple, dice it into small chunks.
  • Add the chopped pineapple chunks to the ice cream mixture and fold gently.
  1. Churn the Ice Cream:
  • Once the mixture has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an ice cream machine and churn it in accordance with the manufacturer's directions.
  • For a firmer texture, transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours or until firm.
  1. Serve:
  • Once the ice cream has reached your desired consistency, scoop it into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
