Pineapple Ice Cream Recipe

A sumptuous, velvety ice cream infused with pineapples and enhanced with TFS Pineapple Flavour drops.
Ingredients:Â
- 475 ml double cream
- 240 ml whole milk
- 150 grams caster sugar
- 5 ml vanilla extract
- 5 ml TFS pineapple flavouring
- 240 grams diced pineapple chunks (fresh or canned)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Base:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the double cream, whole milk, and caster sugar. Whisk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add the vanilla extract and TFS pineapple flavouring to the mixture. Stir well to combine and ensure the flavouring is evenly distributed.
- Prepare the Pineapple:
- If you’re using canned pineapple chunks, make sure to drain them well. If using fresh pineapple, dice it into small chunks.
- Add the chopped pineapple chunks to the ice cream mixture and fold gently.
- Churn the Ice Cream:
- Once the mixture has reached a soft-serve consistency, transfer it to an ice cream machine and churn it in accordance with the manufacturer's directions.
- For a firmer texture, transfer the churned ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for an additional 2-3 hours or until firm.
- Serve:
- Once the ice cream has reached your desired consistency, scoop it into bowls or cones and serve immediately.
